Use Sound Pattern Playground to explore audio features and the behavior of a small nearest-neighbor baseline. By using it, you agree to the boundaries below.

Important: features and guesses are illustrative, fallible, and not diagnostic. Never rely on them for medical, safety-critical, legal, identity, or sensitive-trait decisions.

Acceptable use

Record only sounds you have the right and permission to capture.
Use action or object labels rather than identities, emotions, health conditions, or personal traits.
Do not use the tool for surveillance, covert monitoring, or consequential decisions about people.

Your data

You own the recordings and datasets you create. They remain on your device unless you export and share them. You are responsible for keeping exported files secure and obtaining consent from anyone whose sound may be captured.

No warranty

The software is provided free of charge “as is,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, availability, or non-infringement. Browser and device audio behavior varies, and classifier results can be wrong.

Availability and changes

The product may be improved or discontinued. The offline copy can continue to work, but no promise of permanent hosting or support is made.

Open-source license

The application code is available under the MIT License. These service terms govern use of the hosted playground and do not restrict rights granted by that license.
